BY SEA, ON LAND, IN AIR, FOR US AND FOR OUR VICTORY

Welsh National War Memorial is situated in Alexandra Gardens, Cathays Park, Cardiff For Welsh soldiers who fought in World War I and World War II.Around the base stand three figures, a soldier, sailor and airman, holding wreaths aloft. There are appropriate inscriptions above the figures e.g. 'Over the sea he went to die', above the sailor. Above them, crowning the structure, is a winged male nude representing Victory.
Better on the other side? (London's beggars)

It is 144.5 metres long, 86.5 m wide and its towers are approximately 157 m tall.The cathedral is one of the world's largest churches and the largest Gothic church in Northern Europe..
